At Patchway Community School we have two core principles:
- Learning is first — it’s the starting point for every conversation in school
- Challenge for all — for students and staff because through tackling challenges we reach our highest goals
Our mission is to equip all students with outcomes which give them the choice of going to university.
In Patchway Community School we want our students to be the very best they can be so that they can plan ambitious career paths. By enabling our students to achieve the highest outcomes, we equip them with qualifications and experiences which will give them the widest choice of options when they leave us at 18. This could include university, or it could be an apprentice degree, a level 3 apprenticeship, or immediate entry to a management trainee scheme.
Great outcomes open up aspirational choices for young people which they know they can reach. Karen Cornick, Headteacher.
